内容摘要：Men and women are different. But how, and what do those differences mean for economic behavior? This presentation reviews the literature on gender differences in four different areas: financial risk-taking, cooperation, competition and negotiation. We show discrepancies between the actual gender differences and our beliefs about gender differences in each of the areas.

演讲者简介：
    Croson博士现为德克萨斯大学（University of Texas Arlington）商学院院长，1994年获得哈佛大学（Harvard University）经济学博士学位。Croson博士曾在宾夕法尼亚大学（University of Pennsylvania）沃顿商学院（Wharton School）工作13年，于2007年进入德克萨斯大学（University of Texas）工作。
    Croson博士兼任经济学系和管理学系教授，曾为多个学术机构服务，现为American Economic Review、Management Science和Experimental Economics杂志的副主编。 曾任美国达拉斯谈判中心（Negotiation Center）机构主管，期间曾担任美国国家科学基金（National Science Foundation）社会与经济学部门主管，并于2012年3月成为IZA机构研究员。
其研究领域主要为实验经济学和行为经济学，包括议价、谈判、对公共品的无偿捐赠、慈善、风险承担以及行为金融学等，研究得到National Science Foundation、Aspen Institute、Corporation for Public Broadcasting等多家机构的支持。
